Fire at Finance Ministry office, 2 rooms gutted
A major fire broke out at room number 14 and 15 of the Finance Ministry's North Block office in New Delhi today. The fire broke out at around 5:45 am. Six fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot. The fire was doused by 7 am. However, all files and furniture in the two rooms were gutted by then.
