Supreme Court upholds Right to Education: Is it a blow to elitism in schools?
The Supreme Court has upheld the constitutional validity of the Right to Education Act, saying all schools must give 25 per cent free seats to the poor. Is this a blow against elitism in education? Or is this, as many private schools have argued, simply not practical?
