Govt panel on tribes submits report
Many nomadic, semi nomadic tribes like pardis, sansis have long faced prejudice and stigmatised as ''criminal tribes'' or born criminals who are often subjected to relentless persecution. Now, a Government appointed commission has submitted its interim report on the status of some 500 such criminal castes who make up to 12 crore population scattered across India.
