Govt plans strategy to curb fake currency
Recovery of fake currency notes from a bank chest in UP earlier this month has forced the Home Ministry to ask financial institutions and security agencies to come together to curb this menace. Quality of the fake currency being pumped in from across the border, its growing magnitude and its links with terror financing have forced the government to take the issue on top of its agenda.
