Govt ranks low in '84 riots probe
A look at the record of the 1984 Sikh riots, it is unbelievable to see how laid back the government has been. In a carnage in which thousands of Sikh families were wiped out in the last 23 years, there have been only six convictions. NDTV goes through these case files. The official number of people killed is 2,733. There are 600 criminal cases registered, of them 400 of murder.
