Eighty seven-year-old K R Gowri, Kerala's agriculture minister, is the oldest candidate in the electoral fray in the state. Once a firebrand, Gowri Amma has been a Communist leader and a legislator for over half a century. She has already won 14 elections and this is her 15th.
