Gujarat: A saffronised state?
Closely related to the retreat of Congress is a major Hindutva factor that favoured the BJP. But was Gujarat always a largely saffronised state? Political observers say the state has seen the maximum number of communal riots since Independence. But many others say, communalism is not an integral part of the state but the product of systematic safronisation.
