Gujarat newspaper rakes up controversy
A quarter-page column in the Gujarat Samachar's Sunday edition has led to a controversy days before the state polls. The newspaper selling 14 lakh copies asked its Muslim readers not to sacrifice animals this Id, the festival falls on the 21st of this month, just two days before counting day.
