Heat wave: North India awaits monsoon rains

Summer temperatures in northern India remains above normal but the monsoon is expected to arrive early in the region, meteorologists say. The hottest towns in the region are Hisar in Haryana and Pilani and Sriganganagar in Rajasthan where the temperature surged to 46 degrees Celsius.
