First major Upadhyay and now Lieutenant Colonel Purohit, the army men implicated in the Malegaon blasts, are said to be linked to the Hindu extremist group Abhinav Bharat. The group was virtually resurrected overnight and seems to have played a key role in indoctrinating defence personnel.
