UNAIDS, the joint United Nations programme on HIV/AIDS has stepped in to tackle the alarming spread of HIV in Northeastern states. Seminars and press conferences can sometimes turn into boring affairs but on Friday when UNAIDS decided to launch its joint UN programme on HIV and AIDS Prevention, they took the spirit of these states to heart.
