Hope for Sarabjit Singh brightens
As per some indications, there is fresh hope for Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who is on a death row in Pakistan. Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raja Gillani has recommended that all death sentences in the country be commuted to life terms on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto's death anniversary. He does not have the authority to directly commute the sentences, but the Prime Minister's recommendations are usually approved by the President.
