J&K Governor faces Waqf challenge
NN Vohra was appointed Governor of Jammu and Kashmir squarely in the middle of the Amarnath land transfer controversy. Soon, the Ghulam Nabi Azad government fell and Governor's rule imposed in the state. Now Vohra has to deal with the tricky issue of government control of religious bodies in Jammu and Kashmir.
