Kosi's fury leaves 42 dead in Bihar
After five days of incessant flooding, Bihar is reeling under the wrath of the river Kosi. More than two million people in eight districts in the state are completely cut off from the rest of the country and completely dependent on rescue operations. Standing crops spread over 36,000 hectares have been damaged in the floods and many villages now lie submerged.
