Land up for grabs in Mumbai
Thousands of acres of urban land have been freed in Maharashtra with the state assembly repealing the 41-year-old Urban Land Ceiling act. The move is likely to trigger a real estate boom in the state, especially Mumbai, which has been struggling to cope with a housing crisis and spiralling property prices.
