Left calls for a third alternative
At the ongoing 19th CPM congress in Coimbatore, party general secretary, Prakash Karat has talked about the need for a third alternative, not just as an electoral alliance, but one that is based on an alternative platform of policies. Taking about both the UPA and the BJP, he criticised the Centre for failing to address the agriculture crisis and rising prices.
