Left raises tribal bill issue
Even one year after being passed by the parliament, the tribal bill has not been notified for implementation. Now, some of its provisions are being implemented without the mandatory notification by the environment ministry. Just a month back the government constituted a high-powered committee headed by the Prime Minister to distribute land to the landless, land-for-tribals Janadesh Yatra marched to Delhi.
