Maharashtra education barons under scanner
Maharashtra's education barons are under the scanner. A high level committee has refused to clear admissions to 87 of 152 state's high profile polytechnics until they drastically increase staff and facilities. Thirty-eight of these offer diplomas in engineering, 47 in pharmacy and 2 in hotel management.
