Mamta taken ill after protest fast
The leader of the Trinamool Congress party Mamta Banerjee has been taken ill in her 23-day protest fast against plans for a car factory in Singur. She is opposed to acquisition of farmland by Tata Motors to set up a plant to manufacture low-cost cars.
