Manali locals oppose ski complex
In Manali, opposition is building against a new proposed project by the Himachal government to build a Himalayan ski village. Locals say they don't want the ski village, as it would eat away their land and water rights, and their campaign against the Ford ski resort. Villagers have called upon oracles or holy persons for their interpretation of local signs.
