Minority vote key to Assam verdict
As Assam heads towards the second and final phase of polls on Monday, the ruling Congress is hoping to do what no political party has been able to do in the past 20 years retain power for two consecutive terms. Whether the Congress succeeds or not will largely depend on how the Muslims in lower Assam vote.
