Mumbai: 7/11 blast trial stayed
For the families of 187 victims who died in the Mumbai train blasts, the fight for justice has been put on hold. The Supreme Court on Friday stayed the trial in several cases after the accused, booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, challenged the constitutional validity of the Act. A setback for the Mumbai police, which claims it had built up a watertight case.
