Mumbai ambulances battle killer traffic
A sight, which is not uncommon on Mumbai's streets, is that of a wailing ambulance with a critically ill patient stuck in heavy traffic. "Every month we get five or 10 patients that die because they could not make it to a hospital in time," said Dr Kishore Sathe, Head, Emergency and Accidents.
