Naidu wants Mayawati as PM
In another indication of Mayawati's growing influence, Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu expressed consensus to her eligibility as a prime ministerial candidate. Naidu has changed his tune entirely from Friday when he said that it was premature to project Mayawati as Prime Minister. On Saturday he said, "Mayawati has played such a key role in the Third Front, why can't she be the PM?"
