Polling for first phase of J&K election begins
The volatile state of Jammu and Kashmir has begun voting for its first phase of assembly elections on Monday out of its seven-phase polls. Polling is being held in the Bandipura and the Poonch constituencies amongst eight others and will continue till four in the afternoon. The polling is taking place amidst fears of militant violence.
