Protests on Amarnath land row rages on
Protests against the transfer of forest land to the Amarnath Shrine Board are once again being carried out in several areas across Srinagar. The police have been forced to use lathis, tear gas and even firing to control the crowds. Ttraffic is off the roads and the agitation is not limited only to the capital city. Protests are also taking place in north and south Kashmir as well.
