Rao's memoirs make controversial charges
Two years after his death, Narasimha Rao's memoirs on Ayodhya make some controversial charges against his party and Rajiv Gandhi. This even though Rao himself was the prime minister when the Babri Masjid was demolished and has often been charged with deliberate inaction and siding silently with the Hindutva forces.
