Reservation Bill to be passed into law
The issue of increasing reservations in institutes of higher learning had ignited differing opinion and demonstrators both for and against it had taken to the streets. But after protests, debates and deliberations, the Bill which will reserve 27 per cent seats in all Central government run higher educational institutions, including IITs and IIMs, will finally be passed as law on Thursday.
