SC slams Venugopal's removal
In what comes as a major embarrassment for Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss and the central government, the Supreme Court on Monday slammed the manner in which Dr Venugopal was removed from his post as the director of AIIMS. A hurriedly introduced amendment put an age limit for the post, which necessitated the resignation of the veteran doctor.
