Snubbed by Left, Pranab meets PM
With just about four hours to go before a critical Left-UPA meeting, no one seems to be blinking. External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee is currently meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the latest attempt to work out some kind of a face-saving formula on the nuclear deal. The Congress has made it clear that they will back the prime minister over the N-deal.
