SP-Congress mend past bitterness
Sonia Gandhi and Mulayam Singh Yadav, who have a history of animosity, on Friday buried their past as the Samajwadi Party conveyed support to the Indo-US nuclear deal. For the Congress this means that they will have both - a government that survives and a deal it wants to get done. But for the Left, it was another day of hard talk.
