Surat faces flood fury, thousands stranded
Surat is reeling under the impact of the worst floods in 15 years, caused by the release of 9.25 lakh cusecs of water from the Ukai dam. Most of the city is under water and even in areas, once considered elevated, residents are searching for dry land.
