Tamil media divided on political lines
In Tamil Nadu newspapers have become a vital source of information as the media is increasingly polarised. On one hand it is Sun TV, which is owned by the family of the DMK chief Karunanidhi. On the other hand it is the AIADMK leader's own Jaya TV.
