Tension in J&K, separatists go to UN
It was another very tense day in both Jammu and Kashmir. While tens of thousands courted arrest in Jammu as the Amarnath agitation gathered momentum, huge crowds marched in Srinagar too as a group of separatist leaders submitted a memorandum to the United Nations. But the protest did not turn violent as was feared.
