Tightrope walk for police informers
The informers or khabris are eyes and ears its police. In the late 80s, when the Mumbai's underworld was at its peak, the police force needed insiders to break their net. So insiders were created in the gangland localities, in newspaper boys, tea stalls and paan shops in unsuspecting waiters and dancers in bars and clubs.
