Villagers seek reward for brave act
A few years ago 234 villages in Maharashtra's Gadcharoli district mustered up the courage to step out of the shadow of the gun and stand up to the Naxals. They did this on the promise that the government would compensate them. While the villagers kept their part of the deal, the government has failed to fulfill its promise.
