WB: Gandhi museum remains in darkness
Bhavan, where the father of the nation spent the Independence Day in 1947, was taken over by the West Bengal government's Public Works Department some years ago. Since June 11, the house, which is now a museum, has had its power supply cut off because of unpaid bills pending since January 2003 amounting to Rs one lakh 55 thousand nine hundred 93 rupees and 66 paise.
