'WB govt asked Taslima to leave'
In a new twist, sources have told NDTV that the West Bengal government had asked Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen to leave for Thailand in August. The author has been living a life of fugitive. She was first shunted out from West Bengal and then Rajasthan after Muslim groups protested against her for hurting Islamic sentiments through her writings.
