Women turn liquor barons in Uttaranchal
An increasing number of women in Uttaranchal are procuring licences to sell liquor in the region. The number of such women liquor licensees is the highest in the hill districts of Chamoli, Almora and Pauri where anti-liquor campaigns have so far been spearheaded by women.
