The Wankhede Stadium is one of the premier cricket centers in the country not just because of the manner in which the ground and pitch are maintained. It is also the home ground of many players from Mumbai such as Vijay Merchant, Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar. Test matches have been played at three venues in Mumbai, India's cricket capital.
