Coinciding with England cricket team's tour to India, a light cavalry regiment of the British Army is in India to play some exhibition matches. The regiment's name comes from 'light cavalry' and the fact that they dismount and act as peacekeeping soldiers and hence called Dragoons. "We played the Desert Ashes against the Australians. We played ODIs on the first day of every Ashes Test," said Captain Kieron Atkinson, Member, Light Dragoons cricket team.
