Former RBI Governor YV Reddy launches a scathing attack on the government's notes ban initiative while speaking on Walk The Talk. He says had he been the RBI governor, he would have advised the government against demonetisation and if his decision was overruled, he would admit himself in a hospital and then resign. He added he was pained by the fact that the credibility of the RBI was being questioned. His advice to the current RBI governor is that he should communicate more, reassure people that currency is in the RBI domain.
