An 11-year-old boy attempted suicide after being allegedly harassed by his class teacher, police said today.
The class VI student of St Peter's School, hanged himself from the bathroom ceiling after leaving a suicide note for his parents saying that he was being harassed everyday by his class teacher for not scoring well in exams, the police said.
The student has been admitted to Sarojni Naidu Medical College in Hariparvat, Agra and is battling for life, Circle officer Siddhartha Verma said.
Police has registered a case against the school teacher.
