Agra: A shopkeeper was shot dead in Agra late Saturday night by unidentified assailants, while he was returning home from his shop.
Police said his cash bag and an Activa scooter were missing.
For more than two hours injured businessman, Deepak Khyani (36), lay on the road but people thought he was drunk. Only when some passers-by saw his bloodstained face, they informed the police.
He was taken to SN Medical College where doctors declared him dead.
Police said Khyani (36) had a shop in Rui ki Mandi area. He was shot dead near a park close to his house in Maruti Estate.
