Agra:
Agra recorded its coldest day in 22 years on Tuesday as the maximum temperature hovered around 10 degrees Celsius, an official said on Wednesday.
The day temperature in this Uttar Pradesh city was the lowest since 1992, said the Weather Department official
Visibility was also reduced due to dense fog, delaying a number of trains, while many others were cancelled.
The Weather Department said that the temperatures would continue to fall in the coming days.
However, this did not deter tourists and New Year revelers as hotels in Agra are fully booked.
In Vrindavan, a heavy rush of devotees and pilgrims is expected and elaborate security arrangements have been made.
