Panic In Agra Residential Colony After Leopard Attack

Agra: A leopard entered a residential colony and attacked a few people in Agra on Monday, creating panic, residents and officials said.

The leopard first entered a house in Agra's Suresh Nagar area, and attacked a few people. It then disappeared and was  hiding in a vacant plot. Later, it was seen entering a room in a vacant house nearby.

Wildlife officials reached the colony and were trying to capture the wild cat.

Divisional Forest Officer KK Singh told news agency IANS that forest department range officer Rajesh Sharma along with a team of doctors from NGO WildLife SOS were keeping a watch on the leopard's movement.
