Ahmedabad:
A boy and a girl, both classmates, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of a building in Ahmedabad on Monday, police said.
The incident took place in Bapunagar area where one Parth Joshi (17) and his classmate Ankita Patel (16) tied themselves together with a stole and jumped off the tenth floor of Shyam-Shikhar Tower, they said, adding both died on the spot.
The duo, students of Shriji Vidyalaya in Bapunagar, had been missing since the last three days. Their bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.
Investigation was on to find out the reason behind the two teenagers taking such an extreme step, police said, adding they were questioning the family members of the deceased.
