Ahmedabad: Chief minister Narendra Modi's book - 'Convenient Action - Gujarat's Response to Challenges of Climate Change'- will be launched in the city on Tuesday in the presence of former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, among others. The event, which will be held at Tagore Hall in Paldi at 5pm, will have RK Pachauri, director general of The Energy & Resource Institute as the chief guest.
The book talks about CM's vision to tackle climate change, and covers state government's initiatives for transforming itself into a low carbon economy. Macmillan Publishers India, the publisher of the book, has described it as a 'Green Autobiography' of Narendra Modi. The book comprising 250 pages will be available in both hardcover and paperback editions, priced at Rs695 and Rs495 respectively.
