Ahmedabad:
A student of Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) was on Saturday found dead in his room, police said here.
"The boy identified as Lokesh Rajput was found hanging from the ceiling fan of hostel room number B-216 at DA-IICT.
He might have committed suicide two days ago," they said.
The incident came to light on Friday night after which the hostel staff informed the police.
The boy hailing from Rajasthan was pursuing a course in Information Technology at the institute, police said adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem and a case has been registered in this connection.
