One killed, three injured as building collapses

Amritsar: At least one person was killed and three others injured when a dilapidated four storied building collapsed on Monday at Gate Haikma locality.

The deceased was identified as Parmjit Singh, a labourer working on the building which was under renovation, police said.

There were four labourers working inside the building at the time of incident, they said, adding that a criminal case was registered against the owner of the building for alleged negligence.
